Familiarization with Triangular Bandage

A triangular bandage is commonly used of arm sling in immobilizing body parts and providing support to injured areas. It can also be used to control bleeding and as padding in covering wounds. CWTS students are requested to have this as part of their first aid kit and be trained on its uses. Below are the parts of a triangular bandage (open phase)

Let us familiarize ourselves with the triangular bandage.

Know where is APEX located, the sides and the base. Know also what is open phase, semi cravat, and narrow cravat.
