Your role as a youth in Disaster Risk reduction and Management

As a youth and specifically identified by the RA 10121 to be trained and and equipped of necessary skills and training to reduce the negative effects of disasters, you have the responsibility to:

  1. Participate and volunteer in organized quick response groups and other initiatives related to DRRM.

  2. Advocate the importance of learning the training needed in DRRM.

  3. Continuously update personal skills and knowledge relevant to DRRM

  4. Teach and train (if possible) the community of basic DRRM skills like bandaging and hands only CPR.

There are lot things that you can do to serve the country and one of that is to be part of individuals who are prepared during disasters and calamities.

  • Which among the issues and concerns you think you can better perform as an advocate?
